The interdisciplinary approach of the research includes studies of future projections of water environment using technical models, analyzing people’s perceptions on water-related issues and willingness to contribute to improve the situation, and analyzing mitigation measures for climate change in wastewater management. The results, lessons, and practical recommendations highlighted in this report are important to successfully implement sustainable water management strategies and improve decision making processes in water-related sectors in those countries.
