The first dialogue took place last year and raised a number of questions about what it means to decolonise global health. The second dialogue focused on the key theme of South-South collaboration. Seven key sub-themes emerged from this dialogue, establishing the importance of mindsets, principles, partnership and careful use of language in efforts to decolonise global health. Moving forward will also require understanding and addressing the fact that global health operates within a broader political economy. This ‘big picture’ context compels the movement to embrace other communities and movements with shared principles and ambitions, building on the plurality of decolonisation efforts. Exploring these connections and commonalities might well hold the key to striking a balance between unity and plurality within the decolonial movement(s). UNBIS Thesaurus DECOLONIZATION
