Abstract This report delivers a baseline study for the portable battery waste flows, as described in the Battery Directive 2006/66, for the year 2019, using a replicable methodology that is consistent with the Dutch WEEE Flows 2020 study. The goal is to provide well-evidenced information for investigating the collection rate of waste batteries and monitor other previously undocumented battery flows in the Netherlands.
