In this chapter, current conditions and trends in paddy-dominated landscapes in Asia are reviewed, ways and means of restoring ecosystems and enhancing resilience against various changes are explored, and governance models for efficient, equitable, and sustainable management of ecosystem services across a range of stakeholders are identified.
